All He Needs Ministries

All He Needs Ministries started in 2006 with a book about Chet’s life:

“Since we gave birth to a limb deficient child, several people have wanted to talk to us about their suffering. Life’s difficulties are so individualized that few people face a situation identical to that of another. Even if the situations look alike to observers, the relationships of the people involved and the strengths of those who are suffering make all people face suffering and sorrow as if it is peculiar to them. Yet, a commonality and kinship exists between most of us who have faced life’s cruel blows; and for that reason, people have wanted to hear about Chet, our son, and how we are facing life. Upon hearing of our experience, some have indicated that they were encouraged in their own struggles. I have chosen to write to help others, and maybe, to help us.”  - Jim McDoniel

Since then, Chet and Jim have been able to tell this story in front of tens of thousands of people.  They use humor and stories about Chet’s life in order to make their point that God can use you no matter what you look like.  Ironically, Chet never desired to tell his story until they did their first presentation in 2007.  He says that’s when he found his true calling in the Lord’s kingdom:

“I believe my eyes were opened during that first presentation.  I felt a true calling as to how I could serve the kingdom of God.  I do not for a second believe that God caused this to happen, but I do believe with all my heart that God can use a tragic situation (my birth) and through me, show His glory.  All I have to do is allow Him to use me.”

Jim and Chet McDoniel continue to tell others the story of happiness, positive attitude, and most importantly, trusting Jesus with your life.  They provide encouragement and hope for all through a story about overcoming all odds in order to live a happy life in Jesus Christ.
